How much does it cost to get a video produced?

A 2- to 3-minute professionally produced corporate video typically costs anywhere from €2,000 to €7,000. Most companies agree that video production usually costs around €1,000 to €5,000 per minute. We agree that it is a good starting point to consider when budgeting. However, sizable customised video projects can reach up to €50,000.

What is the video production process?

Creating a video from concept to completion consists of three phases: Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. Pre-Production is where all the planning and coordination happens. Production is when you capture all the elements in your final video. Post-Production is where all the pieces get edited together and combined to create the final video.

How large is the Volumetrico crew for filming?

It depends on the type of work. For simple talking heads interviews or case studies, we provide a “self-shooting” videographer who will work alone to capture all the necessary footage.

However, our preference is for a two- or three-man crew, consisting of a producer/director to oversee the filming and conduct interviews, plus one or two camera operators to concentrate on the visual and technical aspects. This ensures the critical messages of the video are covered more effectively.

For more complex filming requirements, we recommend extra crew members, such as additional camera operators, sound recordists, or drone operators. These will all be cost separately in our quote.

What about graphics and branding?

Alongside the filming, we’ll create any motion graphics required for the video! These could range from a simple animated logo to a series of stylish infographics. We always use graphics in a way that complements rather than complicates the video’s message.

Do you add voice overs and music?

Not every project requires a voice over, but when it does, we can provide you with a range of different voice over samples to choose from, and we’ll take care of the rest.

When a background music track is required, we can source a suitable track from the music library and provide a licence for usage in the finished video.

Can Volumetrico add subtitles to your videos?

Adding subtitles is an increasingly common request, and we’re able to offer two options. We can either add subtitles directly to the video (so they always appear no matter when or how the video is accessed), or we can provide a separate subtitle file that can be uploaded to YouTube and other platforms alongside the video. This allows you to toggle the subtitles on and off and to have several subtitle files in different languages for one video.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We film everything on professional broadcast-quality 4K video cameras and use additional kits — such as radio mics, lighting kits, or green screens — where appropriate. We continually invest in new equipment and software to keep up-to-date with the rapidly changing standards of the industry.
